Happy 4th of July!!!
We celebrated today by having our LAST Russian lesson!!!!! YAY!! We could not be more excited about it. Our teacher was great and honestly if we felt like a Russian speaking country is where we would end up, we may have continued them. But we didn't want our time to continually be filled with a language lesson that we don't see ourselves needing in the future. Though I will admit they weren't all THAT bad. :) I can say a FEW things and can now listen and pick up a FEW things, so that's at least a plus right? But we're still glad we're done with them!
We got home from them and this little stinker greeted us with her silly personality!! This picture sums her up quite well. Cheesy smile! Cute pose! Toddler looking and less baby! Just plain 'ol sweet!
She's sporting her Baby's 1st Summer shirt instead of Red, White, and Blue because we weren't sure what the culture here would be like. Honestly, most of the time we get mistaken as Russians or Germans until we open our mouths and people realize we only speak English, then we're mistaken as British. HA! But she's pretty cute in her 1st Summer outfit anyway! Next year we'll go BIG on the 4th, after all it is her Daddy's favorite holiday!
We've been packing for the lake and village too. So not a WHOLE lot of celebrating but it has been a nice day anyway. :) We're happy to be able to celebrate America's independence from abroad and we're happy to be American.
And we ended pictures when she ripped the bow out of her hair! Great! :)
And for fun here's a couple of videos we've taken since we've been here!!!
Giggles
This was an attempt to get her on video dancing... Excuse the spaghetti face ;)
And Attempt number 2... FAIL!
From today, this one shows her dancing/wiggling MUCH better!
