My parents came up on a Thursday for Phillip's graduation. At the time they made their reservations we had no idea if he was graduating on Friday or Saturday, so they planned ahead and came Thursday. It was a lot of fun to have them for an extra day, especially since they hadn't seen Archer since he was born, they got lots of snuggles before Phillip's parents came.
They stayed out at the lake and while the weather wasn't super great- it rained most of Thursday and all of Friday. Hope had a great time and even got to spend the night! She LOVED it! And we did too, we actually got to sleep til 9:30 which was totally worth waking up 2 times in the night. :)
Hope got to play out by the water in the sand and water. She threw rocks like baseballs (videos will come eventually) and she even caught caterpillars which was surprising considering she normally squeals at the site of tiny sugar ants, maybe she's turning a bug corner. And Archer, well he slept most of the time.
