After days and weeks of nasty cold rainy weather we've finally gotten a break and have warm sunshine. The sunshine has been so welcoming after a long two months of sickness and it's done so much for all of our attitudes. We have LOVED getting outside in the afternoons and playing.
We've played in the sand box with cornmeal because you know Archer has to eat everything and I figure cornmeal is better than sand, he still eats his fair share of dirt. Hope's enjoyed riding around on her bike that she has learned to pedal, her moto my parents got her and driving around in the car. Lots of options for her. :)
Helping me repot plants
The ball pit is a HUGE hit too!
We also live a couple blocks away from a ball field. Phillip and Hope walked down there a couple weeks ago while I cooked dinner and she ran around and dug in the rocks. We took a wagon ride down there a couple of days ago with the intentions of taking buckets and digging in the rocks. But we forgot the buckets and just played in the press box and on the bleachers instead. :)
Dancing
Archer liked climbing on the bottom bleacher too :)
On Wednesday we got home from school and while Archer took a little nap Hope thought it would be fun to play in the sprinkler. We had played the day before with the water hose sprayer and then I added on the sprinkler. She likes standing under it with her umbrella. But didn't like having her dress wet sooo... swimsuit in February totally normal... right?
and swimsuit change... ha!
