Fantastic Fables: The End and St. Patrick's Day!

Well, I was hoping to have a few more pictures from the end of our Spring Break. We had planned on going to a baseball game on Saturday to watch Texas A&M beat K-State. But Hope ended up having a fever all day Friday. She was all out of sorts and not napping good at all. Super clingy and overall not herself. We took her temperature that afternoon and it was 100.3. Well that explains things.

Her temp. spiked to 101.7 that night. She has no symptoms which concerned us a bit and while we don't like to be the "new" parents that take our kid in at the slightly sniffle, we also realize we have health insurance and we'd rather use it then her get really sick. We were off to the dr. Saturday morning. We were told to watch for symptoms and give her tylenol/motrin. Needless to say her temp never went down Saturday even on meds. It hovered around 101-102 all day. That night before bed time it was 104. GAH! So not fun trying to decide what to do when you're baby's health is a concern. A bath and tylenol brought it down quickly so we waited it out. It was normal Sunday morning when we woke up but managed to climb back into the 100-101 range all day Sunday.

I took her back in this morning. Still no symptoms, but an obvious infection. We are currently waiting to visit an urologist. We attempted to get a urine sample at the dr. office but were not successful and are currently being referred to a pediatric urologist. How fun! We're praying this is nothing more than a UTI which is common in babies. She did develop a rash this evening just at bed time but currently has no fever. So tricky!

Anyway, all of that to say the end of our Spring Break was not as planned so I only have a couple of pictures.
