We're moving... ok actually we only have the rocking chair, couch cushions, a couple of boxes and our suit cases to move out of the house. We have ONE MORE FULL day here!!! Its crazy... but Phillip and I were talking today about how this month has been SO. SLOW!
But it's been busy... just cray that it's still May. Ha! But in May he finished finals, we went to Kansas, my parents came for a visit, we packed, and moved, and he had a mini-mester in there too that we basically took together (thank you Google), and now we leave for the summer in approximately 5 days and my baby will almost be 10 months old. GAH!
But in the midst of all of that we've managed to take a few pictures and spend some time outside when its not too hot. One evening we went out after dinner and filled up the pool. I just stripped her down and threw her in her diaper. All of the frogs in the backyard must have recently had babies. There were a couple Hope sized frogs jumping around so I managed to catch one and throw it in the pool. Hope liked him but I convinced her she couldn't keep him as a pet. :)
A froggy video. Sorry its sideways- my dad (hi dad!!) will LOVE this. He hates vertical pictures and I happened to film this vertically... oops! Its still pretty cute though *no frogs were harmed in the making of this video* :)
The Lord has blessed us with AMAZING friends here. We're storing all of our stuff out at some friend's house in their building this summer so we don't have to pay rent!! They brought their truck over Sunday to help move the big stuff and instead of having nothing to sit on we kept the couch cushions. Hope LOVES the easy access to everything she shouldn't have.
Like the computer and that nice power strip!
Today she lost the table and chairs so we just sat her high chair on the floor and filled up her tray. Yes, she ate all of that peach, banana, and turkey and got seconds.
We're working on her signs (more, all done, thank you) but she hasn't signed much until this week. She's KIND of signing more and all done in her own little way. Tonight after she finished her first round of dinner, seriously, she's a bottomless pit, I asked her to say "more" which she verbally attempted and did quite well with. She followed it up with all done (on command of course). So she may just be saying words before signs and that's ok with me- we'll keep working with her on both. Now if only the little turkey would say "mama"!!!
I'll attempt to update again before we leave. Hopefully it'll happen!!
