Nuby Product Review: Flower Child Feeding Set

Flower Child™ Feeding Set

Since Hope began eating actually people food and not baby mush I’ve had my eye on this fun feeding set from Nuby. I was excited when Nuby asked me to review the entire set. You can buy the plate, bowl, and utensils separately if you want. Mommy’s of boys, don’t fret they have a Monster Feeding Set that is just as cute for the little guys in your life. J

Here’s what Nuby has to say:
*When babies begin to show interest in feeding themselves, having the right equipment is a must! Nuby Flower Child Fork and Spoon feeding accessories are made to withstand the challenges of daily use and retain their bright color. Not only is it important to have utensils that are safe for the baby, but they should be specially designed to be easy for little hands to hold and use. Our colorful forks and spoons are designed to meet all of these special needs for either left handed or right handed babies.
*When babies begin to show interest in feeding themselves, having the right equipment is a must! The Nuby Flower Child Toddler Plate feeding accessory is made to withstand the challenges of daily use and retain its bright color. This Toddler Plate is ideal for children who are beginning to feed themselves. Suitable for warm or cold foods. Microwave safe.

Nuby is NOT joking around when they say the plate, bowl, and utensils withstand daily use and retain their colors. We are using this set 2-3 times a week. Everything is constantly having hot food served on it and is being washed in the dishwasher. You would never know how often we use this set because it still looks brand new. It works great for Hope now that she’s getting really independent with eating.

The plate has a non skid bottom to help it stay in place while she’s scooping food onto her fork/spoon. The bowl is perfect because it has a lip around the edge that she can easily grasp while getting food on her spoon. The utensils were about the only thing I don’t really like with this set. The fork isn’t all that ideal as a fork, it’s difficult to get stuff on the “prongs”, yet it isn’t rounded enough to use more as a spork. Other than the fork we LOVE this entire set!
